WordPress studios · Website care
Show the visible work
in your care plan.
A plugin update count cannot explain a clearer homepage or a repaired mobile layout. Give visible changes their own before-and-after record alongside your usual maintenance summary.
No WordPress plugin, login or integration required. Upload your own screenshots.
A small workflow for each reporting period
Choose the changes worth showing
Pick the content or layout updates a client can see: a revised hero, a clearer contact section, a repaired menu or improved mobile spacing. Use your existing tools for backups, update logs and technical checks.
Capture comparable views
Save the original before changing the page. After the update, use the same page, viewport and approximate scroll position. Upload both screenshots to SiteProof; the optional extension can capture the visible viewport of a normal website.
Explain the reason in one or two sentences
Name the change, include the page URL and say what you fixed. Describe the observed change. Avoid claims about increased leads, speed or accessibility unless you have separate evidence.
Export, review and send
Cover sensitive image areas and export the HTML report. Open the exported copy before sharing it through your usual email or file service. Keep your regular maintenance summary alongside it.
Mobile contact section
- Before
- The contact button sits below a large blank area on a narrow screen.
- After
- The button follows the contact details with consistent spacing.
- Note
- “Adjusted the mobile section spacing so the contact button sits next to the details it relates to. Screenshots use the same 390 px viewport.”
Check before sending
- Use the same page and viewport for a fair comparison.
- Check names, private dashboards and personal details in both images.
- Describe what changed and keep business impact claims evidence-based.
- Open the exported report and inspect the actual images and notes.
- Save a project backup; keep feedback JSON files separately.
Where SiteProof fits
SiteProof prepares visual evidence from screenshots you provide. It does not connect to WordPress, update plugins, scan security, monitor uptime or measure performance. It complements those records.
Projects stay in the current browser profile. The website workspace and optional extension store projects separately; move them with a JSON project backup. There is no cloud sync, automatic client delivery or authenticated sign-off.
Need help preparing the first report?
The optional $29 assisted report covers one HTML report with up to three before-and-after items from your approved screenshots and notes, plus one revision. Scope, timing and payment are agreed by email before work begins.
